Culis Monumentabilis

Culis Monumentabilis

Well… it is not my fault, it is a monument erected in the city of Oviedo, Asturias, Spain, Europe, where I (along with 225.000 people more or less) live.

It is the name, for a famous statue, which is situated in front of the Campoamor Theater, in the city center, since 1995 (or maybe 1996). It is a tremendous bottom more or less two meters wide and four meters high standing on top of its two legs, which has this name: ‘Culis Monumentabilis’, which in English would be something more or less like: ‘Monumental Bottom’ and in italian would be: ‘Sedere Monumentale’.

It is not of my taste, in my opinion one’s bottom is much better on one’s legs, and away from the looks and cameras from others, but nonetheless, as it is not my bottom, I don’t really care too much about it, I’ll provide a crop of it from the street view feature of Google.

In case you don’t know (which I hopefully and fervently wish is the case) I do have a lovely bottom, but not so important, noticeable and big as this.

Hm, might be it is a case of arranging a reunion

[I’ll provide the dialogs for the play, at least part of them, in forthcoming posts, just for the sake of you not making a  mistake with the Latin word ‘ars’, and the English word ‘arse’].

Happy new bot…

Sorry, I don’t know what I was thinking about…

Happy New Year!
