Time Shift (VII)
In the previous post, I wrote early in the morning I told you:
Day arrived clear to everyone at 08:20 a.m. (UTC + 1) winter time, December the 11th 2015.
First the image, and then I’ll tell you what is happening.
There is a difference, not so big as that which can be perceived in the image above, but indeed there is a difference, among the yellow dashed line where the frame of my window intercepts usual Polaris position at night, I put in yellow (and the shadow’s line that fell on the building at the same position in true mid-day | mezzogiorno, time for True North | norte geográfico, where I did not put the 5, in order to let you see more clearly, I will call it Polaris Pos, so that nobody makes a mistake), and the position I put as a question mark in orange, where Polaris was today, early in the morning, that I have been observing at several times, among 03:30 a.m. , and 08:02 a.m.
(The other day I went to have lunch at a half past two in the afternoon (most people have lunch more or less at that time in Spain) and I thought: “¡ A ver dónde encuentro yo ahora un “after” pa ir a comer!” | Let’s see where the heck I can find an afterhours to have lunch!’ 🙂 ).
The drawing of the building is approximate, but the real building is real, and the shadows positions at the different times I will write below, are also real.
You must make your own measurements, along various dates to conclude anything, so, take this as a how-to, measure, check, and see what can be done (I already wrote a big quantity of posts about this: overdriven magnetic change, search any word, date, or topic, with the search tool on top of the widgetc column on the right (touch in ‘View full site’ | “Ver toda la web”, and scroll to see the top right area on your screens) in my blog, or in any other source which you think is reliable, and DO NOT use computer aided, or satellite aided devices to measure, the more you rely in your own eyes (or in OPTICAL not electronically altered telescopes), the better.
Now I will put the values in ten columns and some rows (each row is for a different date, I don’t have all the values for all the dates, so if some value is missing it is because I did not wrote it down when I made the observation), each of the columns correspond to the positions I drawn in the image above and go from 0 to 9, you will see a Polaris Pos, for the 5 which should be on the image.
(I have more dates and times noted down that I’ll write after these).
NOTE: the real windows in the previous drawing for the positions have more panes, so the 5 in the table above does not appear in the image, but the values are correct, if you want to have it drawn, just draw equal distances (more or less) on a straight line on a paper.
Before writing more of the values I have written down, I will upload a Stellarium series of snapshots I made this morning, I will not explain anything on them, if anybody is in need, comment and I’ll do.
