Beauty in itself
I usually stand up at six o’clock (or earlier in the morning).
Today, while making coffee for breakfast I stared (as always) out of my window and saw so stunningly beautiful a view that I could not help to make these photographs.
Nature has always had the power to make me stop and stare.
I went to the sea to see the sunset this same day and it was incredible. The sky had clouds, but they let pass sunlight enough to make them glow in a rich variety of colours, ranging from white to violet, including all the spectrum for decomposition of light.
The sea was moving neatly, at a regular pace far from the shore, and the waves, more or less two meters higher than the surface there, were reflecting the coloured clouds from above, moved smoothly, almost clean of the white crests which formed nearer to the sand where they usually break.
I had never in my life seen so stunning spectacularly beautiful a sunset as the one I saw this day.
